Group Sessions

_MA_8637 (2).jpg

Socialisation and being part of a group is a significant theme that comes up during childhood and adult life. Group sessions provide a place to explore the individual in relation to the group through movement, metaphors and thinking together. This interaction is possible when the members feel supported, held and open to explore themes within the group setting.

Each group will look slightly different, depending on the aim, needs and connection of its members. However, the structure of the group is always similar. Each group starts and ends in a circle, in an attempt to connect and share experiences. The middle part is dedicated to creative exploration in the space and sharing moments with others.

Groups can be open; i.e. the membership changes from one week to the next; or closed; i.e. the same members attend each week for a specified period.
